Mardi Gras SVG Free Files

Celebrate Fat Tuesday in style with these free Mardi Gras SVG files!

In the south, Mardi Gras is a huge celebration.  I haven’t ever experienced the one in New Orleans (it is on the bucket list) but I do love me some King Cake!  Yummy!  Today we have some free Mardi Gras SVG files for those of y’all who love to be festive, snag some fun beads, and create some cute stuff with your cutting machines.

While we LOVE for you to share this link with others to be able to download for themselves please refrain from sharing or selling the actual file. 

These files can be used for commercial or personal use.  (commercial use up to 200 uses and not with any print on demand shops)  

Most of these designs would look great with HTV and even more so with this glitter HTV.  Check out this post where we show you exactly how to get your design centered and this post if you have no idea what I mean when I say HTV.

Don’t forget if you have the Basic version of Silhouette Studio you will only be able to use the DXF files.  I highly recommend that you upgrade to Designer Edition but if you stick with DXF know that they cut SUPER SLOW! 

To help with that do an offset around the design (super tiny) and cut that line instead.  It will make the cutting process so much faster!

WE PARADE CRAZY #MARDIGRAS

The fun thing about this design is that it is a double meaning.  It can be taken as We Parade like Crazy and have so much fun doing it but it can also be that we show off how crazy we really are. 

Both meanings are super fun and totally in style with the vibe and culture of Mardi Gras.  Grab a bag like this one to store all the beads in as you collect them during the party!  

MY FIRST MARDI GRAS

This design is cute enough to be for anyone who is going to enjoy their first Mardi Gras.  Young and old alike will look great with this on a shirt.  I will give you a word of warning though. 

The circles on the frame are thin so make sure to be aware of that when you are cutting.  In the mock-up below I made each circle a different color but it would also look just as cute all in one.  You could even use this brick HTV to give it a raised effect.

BEADED LADY

For some reason when I hear beaded lady I always think of the bearded lady from The Greatest Showman.  And on a side note if you haven’t seen that movie go get it here and watch it while you make yourself this shirt with some awesome glitter HTV from Expressions Vinyl. 

They ship super fast, have the heart of teaching which y’all know is so important to me, always have a coupon or special going and have everything you need to craft.  I’m a die-hard fan (of BOTH hehehehe)

MAMA NEEDS A MARDI RITA

Some days us Mama’s just need a drink and a party!  Everyone deserves to have a little bit of fun (safely of course)!  I can see this free Mardi Gras SVG looking adorable on a shirt or even a hat.  These trucker hats are some of my favorites.  Check out more of my favorite crafting blanks here.

IF YOU CAN READ THIS THROW ME MORE BEADS

This shirt needs no explanation.  Mardi Gras is the name and Beads are the game…. hey that should be another design!  😉  I can picture this shirt using flocked or glittered HTV for the beads to really help them pop!  What kind do you think would look good?  The options are endless!

IT’S TIME FOR PARTY GRAS

Last but not least I think this design is my favorite.  I always seem to have a favorite out of each freebie post I make.  Check out another one of my favorite free SVG designs, it’s all about finding humor in the winter weather.   I love the darker purple on the lighter purple…. who would have guessed?

 If you can’t tell purple is kind of my thing!  Grab a shirt like the one pictured here.

These Mardi Gras SVG cutting files will work smoothly with your Silhouette or Cricut cutting machine.  Remember if you have the basic version of Silhouette Studio you will only be able to open up the DXF file.  Also, don’t forget that if you are wanting to cut the image in vinyl to put on a shirt you will want the SVG and not the PNG.
