Free Fall SVG Files: Perfect for Silhouette and Cricut Cutting Machines
After school starts and the excitement of summer begins to fade, the number one question my kids ask is “How much longer ’til October?”. They love October and dressing up for Halloween and I love all the fun decorations fall brings. I feel like October 1st is the date when things really begin to shift into fall gear.
These fall SVG files are the perfect way to transition from Summer to Fall.
Once you browse through them I would love to hear below which ones are your favorites!
Please note that some mock-ups used in this post are Club Chaos exclusives.
Happy Pumpkin Season
I love how this SVG design would be so cute on a garden flag (like pictured in the mock up image below) or even on a sign for your home or porch. It can be left out for fall decoration from September all the way to December.
I absolutely love patterns as well, so I can also already envision this design with the pumpkin being a beautiful pattern vinyl. The words on the SVG file are already cut out from the pumpkin too, so you don’t even have to worry about layering! Bonus!!
The fall SVG itself is so super versatile because I could see it being a sticker, a sign, or even a shirt. The options are really endless because of what a classic cut file saying it is.
Is it October Yet?
This fall SVG file is a fun one. Like I mentioned earlier, my boys love asking me how much longer ’til October. I know if they are asking about it, they aren’t the only one waiting for it to get here! Do you also count down the days until fall?
Even though the design itself probably makes more sense to wear during September (or would even be really funny to wear in the summer months) I say go for it during the entire fall season. Why not?
I Love Fall, Most of All
This Fall SVG design was a fun one to create. When I think of the word Fall I think of movement. I think of breezes, leaves falling from the trees, and of crisp cool air. Those emotions and thoughts were illustrated in this design with the fun freehand lines that frame the design itself.
In the mockup I decided to use five different colors for the shirt, don’t be intimidated. You could totally do it in all one color of vinyl and have it come out just as cute!
If you decide to go the one color route, I would definitely use a warm color that evokes the emotion of fall. I can’t wait to see what direction you end up going with it!
Every single one of these Fall SVG designs can be used with so many different colors combos! The options are endless! Make sure to tag @mydesignsinthechaos when you show off your creations and you definitely should show them off! One of the most fun parts of the process is being inspired by other crafter’s creations.
My Favorite Tools

I always like to try out different tools, techniques and supplies but I usually end up going back to my favorites. They are my tried and true supplies that I know work really well for me!
My favorite spot for vinyl is hands down Expressions Vinyl. They have a wonderful selection of patterns perfect for fall (and for those of y’all who like to play it more safe, they have all the solid colors as well).
For all the supplies from Amazon that I love feel free to check out my Amazon shop. I have tried to link most of my favorites there. If you don’t see something and you are curious what I use don’t hesitate to ask!
I have also written a few blogs on frequently asked questions. So these might help you out as well:

Please note that the Fall SVG files are all inside zipped folders. You will need to unzip the folder first to access the SVG file inside.
Also don’t forget… when you upload the file into your software, first confirm that you are uploading the SVG file. Some people accidentally upload the PNG and that file type doesn’t have layers, leaving you feeling stuck. Learn more about the difference between SVG and PNG file types.
Show Off Your Work!
The last stage of the craft maker process is to display your work. When you show off what you are creating you inspire others to get out of their own crafty funk and have fun creating as well. We want to see what you did with these fall SVG files over here in our community. Then, we will pick a few of the images and add them here on our post! I love being able to highlight YOU, the heart of the Chaos community.
Also friends don’t let friends have ugly SVG cut files. So if you know someone who has a Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine make sure to send them our way! The biggest compliment you can give us is sharing our content directly with others. You can use these designs for personal or commercial use up to 200 uses in your own home.
Please remember the digital file itself isn’t to be shared or distributed outside of this blog post. Thanks for understanding.
Happy crafting and chaos!
