Hey Tami!  Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?

My name is Tami, and I am the owner and designer of Cuddly Cute Designs. I am married to my wonderful husband; I have 4 children and 2 grandbabies. Aside from having my own business I also work full time and I enjoy just about anything crafty.

Could you please share a little about the significance of where your business name comes from?

A collaboration of the style of designs that I create which are cuddly and cute.

How did you first get into designing?

I first got into designing cut files when I was selling paper piecings and scrapbook layouts on eBay. I had a customer who wanted something specific that was not available in a cut file from any other designer. So, I tried my hand at creating it and from there taught myself how to create SVG cut files.

What is your favorite type of design to create?

I enjoy designing holiday and season themed cut files.

Do you prefer designing or making the actual item?

I enjoy both designing and making the actual item. I take pleasure in seeing my designs from start to finish.

How would you describe your style?

“Cuddly and Cute”; geared towards scrapbooking young children and life events.

What’s something you wish you knew when you first started designing or creating?

To be more consistent with my style of designs.

Who or what inspires you?

Scrapbooking my life events and grandchildren helps inspire me to design new files. A lot of my inspiration comes from surfing Pinterest and scrapbook products.

What does a typical day or week look like for you behind the scenes?

When I am not working my full time job I am designing and crafting. Saturdays are my big crafting days where I scrapbook with my best friend.

What’s your most popular item in your shop or on your blog?

The most popular items are Gnomes and Titles but it also varies based on the time of year and/or season.

When you aren’t designing what can we find you doing?

Spending time with my grandbabies. Scrapbooking, crocheting, wood working, binge watching tv, or adventuring off to new scrapbooking stores and coffee shops, and occasionally traveling.

What is your favorite food?

Steak and potatoes, pastas, pizza, and breads.

If you could be any animal, what animal would you be?

A turtle.

What’s next for you?

I hope to eventually have my own line of scrapbook papers.

Where can we find you online?
