Stocking SVG Files: Two Free Designs for use with Silhouette and/or Cricut Machine

‘And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care’… one of the most iconic Christmas lines ever written in my opinion.  These stocking SVG files are the perfect addition to your holiday projects!

Each design is unique and can be used for totally different projects.  I can’t wait to see you put your own spin on each of the files!

The stocking itself is perfect to personalize and the stocking saying would look adorable on a sign as holiday decor.

Each design has a totally different feel.  The stocking outline has tons of tiny pieces and snowflakes.  When cutting that design make sure to do a test cut on your machine.  It will help you to reduce vinyl waste and if you are working with paper the test cut helps to ensure you cut through it all the way.

If you decide to make a sign with the stocking svg quote, I highly suggest making your own wood frame.  You can really get creative on what colors, stains, and sizes you want to create.  Plus it is very cost effective.

File Type Reminder when working with the Stocking SVG designs:  Make sure you are uploading and using the SVG file if you want to ungroup, cut in different colors, and manipulate the elements.  When starting out, deciphering the various file types can be very confusing. 

The description under file type inside the file folder once it is unzipped might say html file or even internet explorer file (these are both the SVG).  If you aren’t able to ungroup and manipulate the elements in the design you might be uploading the wrong file!
